I have been remiss on posting. Trips and holidays and the usual fall rush seem to have gotten in the way.So, these are some photos of the things I've been making for the Westerly gallery. I meant to show more, but sold two pieces before I had a chance to take pictures of them.
Here are a couple of my newest pieces in the "lei" line which I am enjoying so much. I think these are fun, and I enjoy making them. They are light weight, with movement and shapes that don't always seem to stay in the same place. The use of translucent clay adds a special glow and depth to the components, and the embossing powder I use adds just a hint of sparkle.
These are adorable, Kristie. And I love that they have a lot of presence, but very little weight. Yay!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Marion. It was a rather busy fall, and I just didn't get to the clay as much as I wanted. The Lei beads are lots of fun! I think the translucent and embossing powder give them that extra glow.
